Course Policies

  1. Seasonal Golfers and Green Fee Players are responsible and liable for all damages to Summerheights Golf Links property.
  2. Summerheights Golf Links shall not be liable for personal injury to Seasonal Golfers, their guests or to any persons playing under Green Fee arrangements, or responsible for personal property of any nature whatsoever, belonging to members, their families, their guests of green fee players, which may be lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed while on golf club premises.
  3. Seasonal passes are nontransferable and the same may be revoked and all privileges withdrawn at any time by Summerheights Golf Links without reason given. There are no refunds, partial or otherwise.
  4. All Fees & Dues must be paid in full or arranged for by May 1st, 2012. Lockers & Club Storage are rented on a first come first serve basis, to avoid disappointment include with annual dues.
  5. Intermediate members holding membership for three (3) consecutive years will be exempt from paying the initiation fee.
  6. Seniors and Juniors may play Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays by PAYING HALF THE REGULAR GREEN FEE. Juniors must be accompanied by a playing adult. This fee is not applied when playing S.B.G.A. organized events.
  7. L.C.B.O. regulations do not permit consumption of alcohol on the premises that has not been purchased at the clubhouse bar, halfway house or beverage cart.
  8. The Golf course will open when conditions and weather permits and will be closed to all play after November 4, 2012.

"TEE IT UP" package

    Add this package to your membership - 15 Power Cart Rentals, Driving Range Credit of $125 and 5 Guest Green Fee Passes. Power carts are for 18 hole rounds only and may not be used for tournament play excluding S.B.G.A. Events. Unused Power Carts and Guest Passes are non-transferable to 2013. Value is $700 with savings of up to $150.

Corporate fees

  1. Single Purchased in the name of a Company / Business and is in the name of One Person representing the firm. One Playing Guest may accompany this person. Corporate Guests are not eligible for Tournament Fees.
  2. Double Purchased in the name of a Company / Business and is in the name of Two Persons / Partners representing the firm. One Playing Guest may accompany each partner to form a foursome. In the absence of either partner the single partner may be accompanied by Two Playing Guests, a Green Fee or other member of Summerheights Golf Links may complete the foursome. Corporate Guests are not eligible for Tournament Fees.

Corporate Passes

    Corporate Passes are sold in blocks of 25 - 18 Hole Green Fee Passes that may be redeemed at any time throughout the 2011 golf season, except for Tournament Play. Corporate Passes are valid for the 2012 golf season and become void after the course closes for the season making them nontransferable to the next year.

Social Fees

    Any golfer who for valid reason will be unable to play in 2012 may retain their current initiation fee balance by paying a 2012 Social Fee. Social Fee Members will be entitled to three (3) rounds of golf during the week through the season, excluding holidays and tournament play.

Club Storage (regular storage & battery operated carts)

    As a result of the industries ever changing research and development, golf clubs and pull carts have taken on new shapes and sizes. As a direct result our present club storage facilities have been dramatically affected. Summerheights is fully aware of the situation and is currently investigating new club storage alternatives, a lengthy process. All attempts will be made to better accommodate existing club storage patrons until we have found a suitable solution. New club storage patrons need to speak with Proshop Staff regarding availability before applying for this service. We apologize for any inconvenience experienced at this time.

South Branch Golf Association Fees

    The S.B.G.A. Fee is collected by Summerheights Golf Links, in trust, and is paid on your behalf to the S.B.G.A. Executive. This is your committee that organizes all club events (i.e. Leagues, Tournaments, Championships, etc.) and also provides its members with a computerized Handicap / Slope System. . The software for the computerized system is provided by Golf Canada.

2012 Mulligan Program

    Mulligan’s are 5% of your club house purchases and are accumulated every time a member makes a Pro Shop Purchase, Rents a Power Cart, or Pays their Guests Green Fees. Mulligans are also awarded on Restaurant Purchases (It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that the sales person records the Mulligan Purchase). Mulligans have no dollar value however for every $20.00 spent in the clubhouse you will receive one Mulligan. Mulligans will then be deductible from your 2013 annual membership fee. For example, if you accumulate 20 Mulligans during the 2012 golf season you may deduct $20.00 from your 2013 fees. Mulligans are not redeemable towards social memberships and will not be carried over to the following (2014) year's fees.

    1. Each purchase must be $5.00 value or greater excluding taxes.
    2. Maximum of Three Green Fees per member daily and must have played in the same foursome.
    3. Mulligan discounts will be applied only to members that have accumulated more than 5 Mulligans ($5.00) in 2012.

    Purchases that Are Not Included in the Mulligan Program

    1. Alcoholic or non-Alcoholic beverages.
    2. Snack Foods, i.e. chips, peanuts, pickled eggs, chocolate bars etc.
    3. Purchases made from the on course Beverage Cart or Halfway House.
    4. All Fees and Services as listed on the “Annual Statement of Fees”.
    5. Driving Range Tokens.
    6. Tournament Fees and Banquets.
    7. Purchases of or Redemption of Gift Certificates.

    All Mulligan Accounting will be done by Summerheights Golf Links daily and will be reconcilable monthly. All purchases for the season up to and including November 4, 2012 will be put towards your Mulligan account. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that the sales person records the Mulligan Purchase. Your accumulated total deductible Mulligans will appear on your 2012 Annual Statement of Fees when it is mailed to you in November 2012.

    The Mulligan Program is an incentive to generate increased membership patronage of the clubhouse facilities while rewarding the active member with Mulligans redeemable towards the 2013 Fees.
